Product Description

Special blow-plating compound for hot-dip galvanized steel pipes

Uses and Advantages

①It enables excellent wetting of the steel substrate surface by the molten zinc, thereby enhancing the brightness of the steel pipe.

②It can effectively control the dissolution of iron ions from the steel pipe surface, thereby reducing the iron content in the zinc bath and consequently lowering the zinc coating weight.

③ When the Al content reaches 0.2%, the coating is very thin and exhibits excellent wettability, which enhances adhesion and extends the service life of the product.

④ Reduce the formation of zinc dross and slag to lower zinc consumption.

How to Use

① Hot-dip galvanizing manufacturers generally do not need to modify their standard hot-dip galvanizing equipment or process; it is sufficient to ensure uniform dissolution of the alloy in the zinc bath. The recommended dosage is 0.5 to 2 kg of alloy per ton of production, with adjustments made as needed based on the desired alloy composition in the zinc bath.

② The principle for alloy addition is to add small amounts repeatedly—do not interrupt the process, and do not add a large cumulative amount in a single batch.

Precautions

① Regularly analyze the iron impurity content in the zinc bath, striving to keep it below 0.04%, and promptly remove any slag.

② When the special-material treatment is suboptimal, notify the manufacturer; additional alloying elements can be added to address the issue.
