Uses and Advantages

① The zinc bath purifier is a new product specially developed by our company through the concerted efforts of our team of technical experts, tailored to the actual conditions of galvanizing production.

②It effectively removes suspended impurities from the zinc bath, enhances the fluidity of the zinc bath, reduces the iron ion content, and eliminates defects such as slag adhesion, nodular deposits, and sticky slag on the surface of galvanized parts. As a result, the quality of the zinc bath is significantly improved, the surface of the galvanized products becomes bright and smooth, and the zinc coating weight is reduced.

How to Use

① Operating temperature: above 430°C.

② Fabricate a multi-hole feeding hopper with a locking mechanism based on the dimensions of the zinc pot (see figure).

③ The dosage is 0.02% of the zinc melt (e.g., add 1 kg of zinc melt purifier to 5 tons of zinc).

④ Place the zinc bath purifying agent in the porous charging box.

⑤ Insert the porous feed hopper to a depth of 1/3 to 2/3, and move it along the direction of the zinc pot until boiling ceases.

⑥ Repeat the purification process 2–3 times depending on the impurity levels.

⑦ Skim off all zinc dross from the surface of the zinc pot, allow the molten zinc to settle for about 1 hour, and then normal production can commence.
